this collaboration with juanishi orosco came into being thanks to an invitation from rené yáñez of somarts to create a piece for the encuentros/encounters exhibition. the result was a synthesis of myths and histories of the sierra nevada and valley regions that explore how northern california identities co-mingle and intersect.
