excerpt:
flesh poised earthward, soaking light shattered down curves of mountain. plummeted to waters. you, who wears life, a kaleidoscope. time nestled into compression - forgetting spots, leaving others to harden. bones of sulfate, i lay this flesh upon you and pray for osmosis to gain wisdom all over again. to soak in the joy of your wrinkles and pick out splinters from where the lava ran. onto this surface of centuries of humans who have pressed themselves into you, searching for breath.
